Deficiency of iron is the cause of many diseases. Many times we do not know the reason of iron deficiency but there would be serious health problems.

- Hair fall is the cause of iron deficiency.

- The desire of eating ice, mud, chalk, cardboard is the symptoms of iron deficiency.

- Weak nails are the symptoms of the iron deficiency.

- Torn lips and cuts on the corners of the mouth are symptoms of the iron deficiency.

- Inflammation on tongue, problem in chewing and speaking are the symptoms of iron deficiency.

- The swelling in the legs or irritation in legs is the symptoms of the iron deficiency.

- Dizziness and blackness in eyes are the symptoms of iron deficiency.

Iron Rich Food -

We need 10 mg iron every day. However, pregnant women require 20 mg iron every day.

+ Gram: 1 cup (150 gm) gram contains 5-6 mg iron.

+ Spinach: 1 cup (180 gm) boil spinach contains 6-7 mg iron.

+Soya Bean: 1 cup (100 gm) boil soya bean contains 5-6 mg iron.

+ Potato: One medium potato contains 2-3 mg iron.

+ Dark Chocolate: 100 gm dark chocolate contains 6 mg iron.
