Foods to Soothe Stomach Ulcers [Home Remedies]

Gastric ulcer is sores on the lining of the digestive system. It cause due to excess acid of the stomach or intestine. Most ulcers occur in the first part of the intestines. The second most common ulcer occurs in the stomach. Vomiting, dyspepsia, abdominal pain, hear bur, nausea are the symptoms of the ulcers. In addition, emotional and physical stress is also reasons of the ulcers. 

Foods to Soothe Stomach Ulcers 

Many people take antibiotic to cure ulcer. Many food products contain antibiotic elements, which fight against ulcer. According to ayurveda, one should stop eating when ulcer occurs. However, he should drink coconut water and milk every 2 hours.

Honey: Honey contains antibacterial and antiviral elements in greater amounts. It completely destroys the intestinal bacteria and gives relief from ulcers. It is beneficial in stomach pain.

Yogurt: Yogurt contains a kind of bacteria that kills germ in the stomach and relieves pain.

Cereals: It has complex carbohydrates in large number that gives relief in stomach pain. Also, it contains fiber that relieves indigestion and clears the stomach.

Plantains: These are fruits look exactly like the bananas. This cures inflammation caused by ulcers in the stomach because it contains starch. It has antibacterial properties that fight against bacteria in stomach.

Brown Rice: It also contains complex carbohydrates, which improves the digestive system. It provides vitamin, minerals and nutrients.

Cottage Cheese: There are plenty of healthy bacteria. It brings freedom from irritation of the stomach and eliminates intestinal bacteria.

Garlic: Garlic has antibacterial and antiviral properties. It can provide complete freedom from stomach ulcers.

Citrus Fruits: A citrus fruit which has no acidic properties gives nutrients to the body and they do not cause irritation in the stomach. Acidic fruit such as oranges, tomatoes or pineapple increases discomfort in the stomach.

Potato: Potato is beneficial in stomach ulcer. But never eat fry or spicy potato otherwise the ulcer will increase.
