In India, Buttermilk is considered staple milk which is made from curd. It is mostly consumed in the country’s southern region. Buttermilk is made from yogurt and some spices. It is nectar for the summer. In ayurveda, drinking buttermilk after having meal is good for health.

Calcium: Buttermilk is dairy product so that it has high amount of calcium. You should drink buttermilk to strengthen bones and body.

Acidity: You must have to drink buttermilk if you have acidity, stomach and chest burn because it is easily digested.

Digestion: Digestion remains good if you drink it with your meal. It is also easily digestible. It you add pepper or rock salt then it is very beneficial.

Dehydration: You might face lack of water during heavy heat. In this case, you should drink buttermilk. It also cures constipation problem.

Increased Immune System: It has healthy bacteria and carbohydrates. The lactose in the body increases your immune capabilities so you instantly become energetic.

Vitamin: Buttermilk contains vitamin C, A, E, K and B which meets the body’s nutritional needs.
