Salt is a basic thing that we put in the food to enhance the flavor. Experts say that excessive use of salt should be avoided because it causes many health problems.

We should know that our body requires little salt. But if you use more salt then you may get high blood pressure, heart disease, obesity and stroke. In this case, you should use less salt in your diet.

Beans: If there is more salt in the body then it can be reduced by protein. You should eat beans etc. which can reduce salt in the body by 10%.

Yogurt: Yogurt contains good amount of protein that is useful in reducing the amount of salt.

Fish: Fish contains potassium which helps to reduce the amount of salt in the body. You should eat salmon or tuna fish.

Roast Potatoes: Fried potato contains potassium which reduces the salt.

Raisins: Dry fruits contain potassium which should be included in the daily diet.

Apricot: Dry apricots contain much potassium which helps to reduce the amount of salt. You must have to eat two apricots daily.

Banana: Banana, avocado and orange juice has potassium. You should eat only when you have high blood pressure.

High Fiber Foods: Oates, vegetables and white bread are high fiber food which reduces the amount of salt in the body.

Spices: You must have to include spices in your diet. This is not only reduces the amount of salt but also other diseases can be cured.

Use Less Salt: You can use less salt or avoid the salt in your diet.
