Mint leaves are used as food. The various species are found in Europe, America, Asia, Africa and Australia. In India, mint plant is found in every home. Mint juice is used as medicine.

1. It is healthy in salad. If you chew mint leaves daily then you can get rid from pyorrhea, dental disease and blood from the gums.

2. Boil 4-5 mint leaves in a glass of water. Put in the fridge when it gets cool. Rinse the mouth and you can get rid from bad smell.

3. Mint tea is beneficial in skin and skin problems. It removes pigmentation from the skin and clears the stomach.

4. Peppermint is disinfectant. If you sprinkle mint oil around the home then you won’t get mosquitoes, ants, pest etc.

5.  Take mint leaves and grind them. Take steam from it. It removes acne, pigmentation and scars of the face.

6. Take a tub filled with water. Keep drops of peppermint oil in it. Put your legs on that tub and you’ll get relive in fatigue.

7. Fresh mint juice is very beneficial in tuberculosis, asthma and various respiratory diseases.

8. Take water with lemon juice, mint and black salt. Drink this mixture and you get relief in malaria.

9. To remove impediments grind pepper and mint leaves. Take a teaspoon mixture in the morning and evening.

10. You can use mint leaves and honey when you get hiccups.

11. Mix two pinch salt in mint tea and drink it. It gives you relief in cough.

12. Take equal amount of mint, onion juice and lemon juice. Drink this mixture when you get cholera. If you’re suffering from vomiting, diarrhea and cholera then you can drink this mixture every half an hour.

13. Fever and pneumonia can be cured by taking fresh mint juice and honey.

14. If you get sudden stomach pain then intake mixture of ginger, mint juice and rock salt.

15. Put mixture of onion and mint juice on the nose when you get nose bleeding. It easily stops blood from the nose.

16. Diarrhea can be cured by having mixture of mint leaves and honey. It should be taken three times a day.
