If you want to lose weight than less fat and low-carbohydrate diet would be more effective. Low carbohydrate diet is not only effective in weight loss but also it is useful in removing heart disease. These features of low-carbohydrate diet has revealed in a new study. This recommendation is a little different from the other weight loss diets.

'Annals of Internal Medicine study published in the Journal, low-fat diets are more beneficial than low-carbohydrate diets.

Researchers in the United States conducted researched on 148 men and women and have concluded. People who were included in the study neither they have any kind of neither heart disease nor they were suffering from the disease of diabetes. Half of the participants were black citizens.

Body Mass Index (BMI) participants were classified as obese people. Low-carbohydrate and low-fat diet groups were given advice at regular intervals about eating habits but no goal was placed in front regarding calories (energy).

Nearly a year later, researchers found that taking a low carbohydrate diet, black and white, both significantly decreased weight of the participants compared to who were taking low-fat diet. It was also found that people who take low carbohydrate diet have less risk of heart disease.

Researchers also reported that increase in BMI is shows the risk of diabetes.
